This is a collaborative compilation, put together to showcase some of the incredible music that's been put out by Scottish independents over the last few years.

We've asked 5 of our favourite Scottish indies to join us and provide 3 tracks each for a limited edition cassette release.

We started GoldMold simply to share good music, and were inspired to do that by these labels and some of these artists. It's been a pleasure to work on a release in conjunction with them and we hope you check them and their releases out if you're not already familiar.

A massive thank you to Cameron Orr for providing the artwork for this release among others. He's the single biggest contributor to GoldMold and is responsible for just about every aspect of the labels aesthetic. He's the man.
On top of his contributions to this label, Camy runs Crater Cove Records and releases music as Egopatterns (track 7 on this release) and as part of Boooo and Lovely Ladies.
